Our founder and visionary leader, Krist Karloff, established Evil Genius Tattoo Club in 2015 with the aim of creating his ideal tattoo studio.  The essence of Evil Genius, the principles of Loyalty, Honor, and Respect, and its future, all originated from Krist's vision.


Krist was a pioneer in the vivid and striking watercolor tattoo style, which earned him a reputation for his talent. This page serves as a memorial to Krist and his legacy, reminding us of our roots and our purpose.


We honor Krist and his unwavering commitment to 'Stay Genius!' His legacy will always be a part of Evil Genius Tattoo Club.

Shawn, Krist's trusted friend and voice of reason, was among the first to join Evil Genius as the manager responsible for its day-to-day operations. He served as the face of public outreach, welcoming guests with his warm personality as they stepped into the studio. With his dedication to establishing Evil Genius within the downtown business community, Shawn embodied every principle we hold dear at the studio.


Following Krist's passing, Shawn took the reins and kept the vision alive, bringing everyone together with his magnetic and charismatic personality. He set the bar for kindness and hospitality, a goal that we all aspire to achieve.


We honor Shawn and his unwavering commitment to Evil Genius Tattoo Club and its artists. His legacy will forever be a part of Evil Genius.
